Email Bounce Report

This report details the reasons why your send resulted in bounces. If you click on the total numbers the contact lister window will open showing you the email addresses associated with each bounce reason.

Bounce reasons

Bounce Type Description
Email had attachment Some mailservers will not accept emails with attachments.
Email address doesn't exist The destination mailserver did not recognise the email address, perhaps because the address is incorrect or the contact no longer exists.
Domain not found We were unable to find the domain name associated with the email address, perhaps because the domain is incorrect or a temporary or permanent DNS failure.
Rejected as spam The destination mailserver did not accept the email because it identified it as spam.
Sender is on spam list The destination mailserver did not accept the email because previous sends from you had been categorised as spam.
Contact's inbox is full The inbox associated with the email address is full and cannot accept any more email.
Sending IP is blocked The IP address used to send the email is on a blocking list.
Spam detected The destination mailserver identified your email as spam, but the email may have been accepted anyway.
No response from destination We attempted to deliver the email but found no receiving mailsever. This may be a temporary or permanent problem.
Unknown The destination mailserver responded in a non-standard way and we were unable to identify the reason why the email was bounced.
